Author Bio: Andrew was inspired to write The Empty World after formulating theories about a delayed building site not far from his house. The old property had been torn down and a barren stretch of dirt had replaced it for four long years, during which time all the workmen did was dig one pit and remove countless tonnes of dirt from its depths.
