Interview with Author – Duncan Whitehead

Interview with Author – Duncan Whitehead

Award-winning writer Duncan Whitehead was born in England and is the author of the best-selling and award-winning GORDONSTON LADIES DOG WALKING CLUB Trilogy. The series, inspired by the quirky characters and eeriness in the real-life Savannah neighborhood in which he once lived, is a humorous mystery that boasts an assortment of characters and plot twists. The first book in this series won the 2013 Reader’s Favorite Book Award for Comedy.

He has also written over 2,000 spoof and comedy news articles under various aliases for a variety of websites both in the US and the UK. Duncan now resides in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and has written further novels, including the four-book FOREST PINES MYSTERY SERIES and a stand-alone comedy, THE RELUCTANT JESUS, which won the 2014 Reader’s Favorite Book Award for Comedy.

The final and fourth book in the FOREST PINES SERIES was released in December 2023, written after a four-year hiatus from writing. He is the author of the parody A COZY MYSTERY…WITH ZOMBIES!, which was released in January 2024. He has recently completed his next book, a comedy, and parody entitled MURDER, SHE HOPED and has commenced work on his next comedy/mystery, THE MYSTERIOUS AFFAIR AT FLETCHER’S END.

Duncan is well known for his charity work and kindness to animals, children, and old people. His charity, ‘Habitat for Hotties,’ where he finds housing for retired Hooter’s waitresses, was recently voted the least likely charity anyone would ever donate to. He has donated several organs to puppies and kittens and, to help save the planet, does not leave a carbon footprint, as he only wears slippers. In February 2040, he invented time travel and now spends much of his time in either the future (where he has won the lottery an astonishing 117 times) or the present day. Attempts to return to 1985 and write The Harry Potter series of books have thus far failed.

Interview with Author – Christine Germain

Interview with Author – Christine Germain

Christine M. Germain is an Award-Winning Best Selling Author of Horror and Mystery Thriller. Born March 8, 1981, in Brooklyn, New York, she found her passion for writing in 1993 and wrote her first horror story at twelve. Watching horror movies and reading young adult horror fiction novels influenced her love for writing a story with a protagonist that looked like her. African American women weren’t portrayed as solid leads in horror films or books. Instead of waiting to see if that would happen, she created a story that she would love to read and watch on the big screen that catered to more diverse characters.

Admiring authors such as Stephen King and R.L. Stein, Christine pursued her writing journey, majoring in literature, and graduated with a performing arts degree. Known for an imagination unlike any other, Christine is ready to take you to a thrilling shape-shifter world with her series, “The Brother’s Curse Saga.”

Interview with Author – L.A.A. Law

Living on the east coast, I love to travel to Maine. It is just far enough away to feel as if I am escaping the demands of work to enjoy time with my wonderful family while being close enough that most of the short time we find in our competing work schedules to escape is not taken up by travel. The beautiful scenery, national park, and abundance of rocky beaches offers peace and tranquility. I am the mother of three wonderful children and work in a law firm. Writing is something I never thought I could do. My vast work experience is more in accounting and legal work dealing with figures and asset allocation. Writing became a way to allow my mind to escape for short periods of time while my body stayed anchored to care for two dying parents while still attempting to ensure that my children could have a somewhat normal childhood.

Interview with Author – C. R. Stewart

I am originally from Newport Beach, California, and have twenty years of experience writing fiction, nonfiction, and movie screenplays. My areas of expertise also includes film and media production, global strategy, and international marketing.

Britfield & The Lost Crown was conceived as an idea over 10 years ago while I was enduring a boring finance seminar. It started as a sketch of a hot air balloon with a young boy and girl trapped inside. From this simple drawing sprang the entire concept and story for Britfield.

I received a Bachelor of Arts in British Literature and European History from Brown University; did post- graduate work at Harvard University; earned an MBA from Boston College; and am pursuing a Master of Science in Advanced Management and a PhD in Strategy.

Now based in San Diego, I am a strong supporter of education and the arts. I enjoy world travel, reading, riding, swimming, sailing, tennis, and am currently on a National School Book Tour with Britfield & The Lost Crown speaking to students on the importance of creativity!

Interview with Author – Rebecca Forster

When I was a corporate maven many years ago my client was married to a famous author (don’t tell that I had no idea who Danielle Steel was). After meeting her I flippantly said, “I could write a book”. A colleague dared me to do just that and a 30+ year career was born. I started with romances but with the help of a smart editor I was guided into thrillers. That’s where I found my passion and now I am a USA Today and Amazon best selling author. I have been writing full time for over twenty years, teaching writing at programs such as the acclaimed UCLA Writers Program, speaking for business, philanthropic and writing groups across the country. To make my thrillers as real as possible I have taken and graduated from the DEA and ATF Citizen’s colleges and the Navy’s Leaders to Sea program. I am a patient/family advisor at my local hospital after being a cancer patient myself. I have been married to a wonderful man I met in high school who is now a superior court judge, and I am the proud mom of two sons.
