Author Bio:
A little bit about me: E.G. Patrick
Hello! Born in England, I now live in Canada. Living my life with passion and without barriers is my mantra. Bringing my secret dark fantasies to life in my stories is therapeutic! I hope to entertain, stimulate and evoke all kinds of emotions. My characters mean a lot to me so I take great care in making them feel like real people including some imperfections.
My sincere gratitude to readers everywhere!
What inspires you to write?
My readers inspire me and I love to hear from them. Reading also inspires me. There’s nothing like falling for, or relating to, a character. It’s a wonderful feeling and gets you thinking. Writing is also an outlet to express my thoughts and feelings without judgment or barriers. It allows me to share my darker and more adventurous thoughts too. I grow to love my characters as their lives evolve within my stories.
Tell us about your writing process.
I start with a question, create a story line from there in my head and then begin to write those thoughts. When I start feeling things for my Characters, I know I’m heading in the right direction.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
This question made me smile. Yes, I do have character conversations in my head. Many times while driving I do that instead of listening to music. I even get a tingle sometimes, they’re that real. LOL.
Who are your favorite authors?
Rebecca Brandewyne, Penny Vincenzi, Jeffrey Archer, Stephen King and recently, Laurelin Paige.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
Feedback on my first full length story encouraged me to want to publish. I went with self-publishing after researching other authors who have done the same. SP was a good option for me as a new author.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I think it will keep evolving with the help of social media and new instant technology. There are sites, like this one, that want to help new authors and connect readers with authors they may be interested in reading. Thank you for that!
What genres do you write?
Erotica / Erotic Romance
What formats are your books in?
eBook, Print
