(And even when she is ;}) She shares a home with her boyfriend, two grown kids, a grandchild and a stubborn cat. She enjoys writing science fiction, fantasy, erotica and romance.
What inspires you to write?
What inspires me to write? How can I not write? The stories in my head demand to be told. And there is nothing like hearing from someone who has read your work and really enjoyed it.
Tell us about your writing process.
I am more of a pantser, though I am attempting to learn to outline. I love nothing more than sitting at my laptop and listening to my characters whispering (or yelling, at times) their story in my ear, and watching it unfold on my screen.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
I do listen to, and talk to my characters. If I didn’t, they’d probably mutiny.
Who are your favorite authors?
My favorite authors are Laurell K Hamilton, Anne Rice and Piers Anthony. I also enjoy anything by Stephen King or Dean Koontz.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I decided to self publish, instead of trying the traditional route, because I tend to like being in control. I’ve never really enjoyed being told what to do.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I think the future of book publishing is going to keep moving along the way it is, simply because you’re going to have authors who like to relinquish control to a big publishing house and authors who prefer doing it themselves, and who figure that if they have to put in the effort to market and attract followers anyway, why not publish it themselves, too.
What genres do you write?
I write science fiction, fantasy, romance and erotica
What formats are your books in?
eBook, Print
