Interview with Author – Chirag Jain

By Interviews With Writers

Author Bio:
Hi, My name is Dr Chirag Jain and a physician practicing in Mumbai, India since last 13 years. I have trained more than 10000 human brains with my 4 R theory and understanding the complexities of change of mindset with the laws of neuroplasticity formulated by him.
What a comeback! is my first book and my intention of writing the book is to reach out to people and make them aware of the the science of comeback.

What inspires you to write?
What a come back is a book about coming back from any situation in life.I was fascinated about this subject when during my interventions with the participants.I saw a complete turn around in the personality of some of the participants.People who were not having any purpose or goals in life, started getting more focused. There were cases where some were going through difficult times like a divorce or abusive partners. They were able to resolve these issues. This prompted me to find out more and started writing the book.

Tell us about your writing process.
I have started writing the book as i saw the difference in the interventions I was doing for the participants using mindfulness and the laws drafted by me.I realized that these made a huge difference in people's personality and hence wanted the word to spread. The reseach behind the book has been when I drafted the laws and the subsequent effect of the interventions. It has bee a life changing experience for me as a writer.

For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?

Who are your favorite authors?
Daniel Goleman's Emotional intelligence and Norman doidge's The Brain's Way of Healing: Remarkable Discoveries and Recoveries from the Frontiers of Neuroplasticity are two books which have helped me in a deeper understanding of the subject.

How did you decide how to publish your books?
I decided to self publish as i was rejected by most publishers for traditional publishing as they believed that there is no science behind a comeback.

What do you think about the future of book publishing?
It needs to be more open and needs to shift from money making business to reaching out to people and helping the world to be a better place to live in.

What genres do you write?
self-help,neuroscience

What formats are your books in?
eBook, Print
