Author Bio:
S. Valentine grew up in England. Studying English language and literature, as well as law, she worked in a solicitors for many years before moving to Spain. She does however divide her time between both countries.
Returning to her lifelong passion of writing books, she’s also a weekly columnist for The Ibizan newspaper on: lifestyle and fashion. Her other interests include reading, shopping and a nice glass of wine to shows such as Sons Of Anarchy, Dexter, Gossip Girl and SATC. She’s a social media addict, and loves connecting with new people.
What inspires you to write?
Everything around me: tv shows, movies, music, people. I am forever inspired by things,
Tell us about your writing process.
I plan a story briefly. I will write the blurb first, and then short character bio’s. I either use notepads or jot stuff on my whiteboard.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
I don’t talk to them, but I listen. When I’m sitting there, sometimes a thought will pop into my head, so I jot it down. Unfortunately it seems to happen just as I want to go to sleep.
Who are your favorite authors?
There are so many! Jackie Collins, Danielle Steele, Lauren Weisberger, Candace Bushnell, Kimberley Chambers, Don Winslow, Portia Da Costa etc. These books are chick-lit, crime and erotica.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I researched both routes, however wanted to be traditionally published. I submitted my manuscript to several agents and publishers, and was lucky to receive three offers.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
Hopefully there will be more library bars / cafes etc and readers can connect with one another, rather than just in quiet libraries. Coffee and books. Nice!

erotic romance, contemporary, crime / drama.
