Author Bio:
Good day, I AM Lonmontre…… Lonmontre Washington the most humble King of bookstore’s around these parts. I hope all is swell and enjoyable for you today. Life is what you make it and each experience we have seems to come from how hard we focus on any giving outcome and how fast we can choose a different state-of-mind.
Let me tell you about me. I was born an trained (raised) in Dallas, Texas by a single mother with four other children. What a humble and tough woman my mother was for taking on grit, grind, and ‘grandeur’ of maintaining a happy-loving family.
Love does a lot for a man. Love makes people more authentic, wholesome, and admirable. So although I didn’t do a traditional dedication page to anyone particular, I ‘d have to attribute my desire to inspire burning inner fires inside your essence to the love I have been immersed in all my life.
On a more personal level I am a veteran, a ‘vegan’ more or less, a romantic, self-reflective, and very positive about life. Namaste
What inspires you to write?
I enjoy certain environments. Writing is simply a vehicle for which to experience the environments I enjoy. Quiet, tranquil, reflective, peaceful, contemplative, mature, grounding, intuitive, clear. I also enjoy the idea of getting who I am out to others that may know me but not know me in the way that I am able to express through my writings. Perhaps the way we engaged with people in everyday life is not enough for them to experience a conversation that would reveal to that individual what we (authors) reveal in our writings. This is their opportunity to discover parts of who we are that they have missed.
Tell us about your writing process.
My process for writing could be considered brainstorming. I like to conduct my projects and other life task in an organized manner; however, my writing is more likened unto a high powered water hose: open up the valve (my thoughts) and let the water flow (all the possibilities of content and arrangement of the to be published book). My outline comes from the choice of what content is chapter worthy and how many chapters would be reader friendly (keep my audience attention/enthusiastic of what’s the next). As I continue to write I am evolving and will adapt various ways of getting to a desirable finish transcript prior to launching my self-published works. It’s fun and allows for use of one’s creative juices. This is what is most important in my writing journey. One experience at a time. Just enjoy.
Who are your favorite authors?
Stephen King is a well know author. His work stimulates the mind and makes you want more. Gary Zukav, Robin S. Sharma, Dr. Wayne Dyer are very positive self-reflective writers that I enjoy. Very self-reflective works come from these guys.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I choose online-self-publishing versus using a traditional publisher. Online-self-publishing is much much more affordable when it comes to book editing, creating book covers, the storing of the books, and the amount of time to publish a book. Editing can be done, creating a book cover can be done online for under $20. The storing of your books is usually free since books are not stored but printed on an as needed basis when self-publishing with online companies. The traditional way would take nearly a year to see your book on a book shelf. With online-self-publishing it simply a click of a button.
Are You Ready to Publish this book….why yes I am…. Ok click submit.. You click submit and you are done.
Congratulations, your book “Connected to Source Renew Your Whole-Self” is live in the Kindle Store and is currently enrolled in KDP Select. It is available* for readers to purchase here.
Thank you for publishing with Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP). We would like to remind you that books enrolled in KDP Select are exclusive to Kindle!
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I think that book publishing is returning to folks wanting to hold a hard cover in their hands. People are getting into eastern ways of coping with ‘stress’ ‘kids’ ‘societies structure’ ‘current currency’. So I think that the old way of just having a nice thick hard-cover book to sit some tranquil place eating a granny smith apple under a Christmas tree (an evergreen conifer). Real books are likely gonna be a returning entertainment-past time.
