I have been a writer for over ten years. Writing Children Books has been a fantastic experience, and I look forward to my second book which will be releasing next year.
Writing is just not a hobby for me its my passion.
What inspires you to write?
My mind which lives in another fantasy and magical world where anything and everything is possible inspires me to write Children’s books.
Tell us about your writing process.
Anything can come into my head at anytime so I write down everything then I put it together once I think I have everything I need. I usually create the characters in my head while i am writing down ideas. I used a self publishing company who bought my ideas to life. They did all of the illustrations and even put my book directly onto Amazon.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
Once I have decided on each character and their personality I think to myself how would they behave in a certain situation in the story.
Who are your favorite authors?
I loved Matilda by Roald Dahl. Also love most of the penguin/Puffin Books.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I needed help as it was my first book. I needed someone to help me bring my vision and words and characters to life. I used a self-publishing company who did a fantastic job.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
Book Publishing is becoming easier as now you have the options of self publishing which is easier then a publisher publishing your book for you. Its quick and easy.
