Interview with Author – Carolyn Muradian
Carolyn is the mother of six children; one boy and five girls. Empty nesters, she lives in Little Rock, Arkansas with her husband, Krikor, and their precious Boston terrier, Anoosh. One of her greatest joys has always been watching children discover what their world is all about. Little did she realize these observations would become an invaluable resource for her writing. It was her granddaughter, Macy, who has Down syndrome, that inspired her to write Is Being Different a Good Thing to Be? Anyone who reads a Macy book is bound to be captivated by the curious and charming character.
Writing does not come easily for Carolyn, but the pain and agony of the journey, if you make it to the end, carry a zillion rewards. One of her favorite times to remember was when Carolyn wrote and co-published with one of her daughters the Mother and Daughter Designs series. Included in the fourteen titles they created is the original and unforgettable Heaven’s Grocery Store. She is making preparations for its rerelease.
When Carolyn can find the time, she spends it doing her second favorite thing to do, needlework. She was nine years old. Her grandmother was teaching her how to cut a pattern out of a newspaper and turn it into her dream dress, when she was bitten by the sewing bug. It wasn’t long before she began teaching herself, eventually learning the entire array of needlework. Her current goal is to finish some family quilts she started; fourteen to be exact.
Currently her mind is focused on Is Being Different a Good Thing to Be?, her first Macy book. Following her natural inclination, she has learned from scratch how to create a website, add an email list, embed links and setup media platforms (you get the picture) all this while she writes. Carolyn strives to create a book that is not only exhilarating, humorous and heartwarming, but woven into the story so as not to be intrusive, a spattering of educational tools and descriptive language.
She’ll soon be introducing a new, children’s, picture book series. Already written and illustrated are the first three books. A fourth is waiting for final touches. Children are going to enjoy following this delightfully, dapper character, Bingo Boo, as he ventures through his whimsical, wonky world.
Interview with Author – Jessica Berg
Hello! I’m a Midwest girl, born and raised, and my farming/rural background has played an integral part in who I am and what I do. I live in South Dakota with my husband of twenty years and four children (two boys and two girls), and a supposed-to-be miniature Australian shepherd. Something must have jumped the fence, however, as Fitz is a bigature and larger than even normal Australian shepherds. Welcome to my world!
I love my job as a high school English teacher and the 23-24 school year will be my 19th year! I also am an adjunct English professor with two local universities.

As an Inspirational Speaker Lynn shares with others her coping strategies for living with bipolar disorder and how she learned to be a productive member of society again and thrive despite how she was labelled. Her talk, “7 F’s to Creating Your Fantastic Future” outlines seven words all starting with the letter F that led to her recovery. She has spoken at hospitals, conferences, Rotary Clubs, libraries, colleges and universities.

Interview with Author – Dalton Smith
As a little child or pretty much as long as i could remember telling stories has always been my past time. So ,as i got older i had these little voices in my head telling me to write since i had a knack for it. Eventually i listened to my conscious and started my self publishing career. My main focus i primarily write is non fiction. I enjoy the fact that i am able to help other people with my words to solve problems. I have published my first book this year and have other books planned to be published soon so stay tuned.
