I have been writing since I was 8 years old. I always had a passion about books and the imaginary land they take you. In my twenties I fell in love with self-improvement books and their powerful way to change somebody’s life. So I decided to write my own book called “What we want, we get it”. I sent the manuscript first in Portuguese for Brazilian Publishers, however they didn’t accept it. Then I had the idea of translating it into English and I sent emails of my manuscript all over the world. It felt incredible when Editions Dedicaces from Canada sent me the contract for my first book in 2009. I haven’t stopped writing books since. I published my second book called “Be Rich” in 2011 and I just finished the manuscript of my third book in October 2012.
What inspires you to write?
I am inspired by life. I want to help people to achieve a better life with positive thinking, positive words and feelings. I want to spread my knowledge about the Law of Attraction and the power of thoughts around the world and make others happy.
Tell us about your writing process
When an idea comes to my mind it doesn’t take long to finish a book. I usually have an insight in the middle of the night or early in the morning. I have to write the lines on my computer or I grab a pen and a notebook straight away otherwise I lose my track. One thought leads to another and before I realize it, I already have a book done.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I tried so many publishers and they said “no” to me, then I read on the internet the idea of self-publishing my own book and I went for it. I would advise new authors to try the big publishers and also self-publish, you never know. You might get it.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
The future offers more opportunities for new authors in the self-publishing companies, but the big publishers will remain strong.
What genres do you write?
Self-improvement and spirituality
What formats are your books in?
eBook and Print
