What inspires you to write?
I am the LAST person to want to write anything. It started out as therapy because I was holding so much in. It was a way to release the thoughts and feelings I had bottled inside. I began by writing things on napkins, then as more things transpired I began to record myself speaking about it until I had the whole book on my phone. I love that I did it that way because so many people stated they loved the fact that they felt they were in the room with me while they read it, and that is exactly what I wanted.
Tell us about your writing process.
I am a planner. I had an outline of how I wanted to record the story and I pretty much stuck to the plan I started with.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
I was my character, so it was easy to write what I felt because I recorded it on my phone as I was going through the events.
Who are your favorite authors?
E. Lynn Harris and Terry McMillan
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I self-published because I was out here by myself trying to get my book out and money played a major part.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I believe that because of social media being the marketing guru that it is, there will be no need for publishers because everyone has the world at their fingertips.

Realistic Fiction
What formats are your books in?
eBook, Print
