What inspires you to write?
My love for reading and authors inspire me to write. I also have a thing for libraries and librarians.
Tell us about your writing process.
I am an outliner. Things have to make sense to me. I love to storyboard my chapters. I first determine my book title, the mission and vision of the book, and chapter title names. I then describe in a brief paragraph the mission for each chapter. Then I sit down and start the creating process.
Who are your favorite authors?
I like historical romance. My favorite author is Deeanne Gist. I also like inspirational fiction by Michelle Stimpson. All of the books that these two ladies have written. I’m in love with how they write!
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I love being in control, so self-publishing is my favorite method of publishing. I’ve also designed a quiz to help authors determine which will be a best fit for them based on their personality type.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
Book publishing and the industry has experienced a major paradigm shift. I think authors will have to continue to be teachable and electronic savvy in order to reach the masses.
