Second Lieutenant Matthew Weiss an Intelligence Officer in the United States Marine Corps. Previously, he worked in mergers and acquisitions at a cutting-edge defense technology company. He holds a BS and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Most importantly, he is a member of Generation Z who cares deeply about solving this issue of service.
What inspires you to write?
I was inspired by the lack of Gen Z voices on the news talking about this issue. Admirals and Generals who are very old talk about this but we need a voice from the actual generation being recruited.

I am a very planned writer. I outlined 25 possible sub-thesis and solutions that make up the actual chapters
