What inspires you to write?
I write to be able to express myself especially if I am angry or emotional because you can feel my emotion and pain as you are reading my story.
I write as a way to channel my anger so I won’t do nothing stupid and end up in jail when I could just write a book that’s going to last a lifetime.
Tell us about your writing process.
I was going through so much at a point in my life behind a man sleeping with my cousin but have a child by me and everyone began to attack me.
I was a broken woman scarred to my core, it’s one thing to break me down to nothing but it becomes another thing to try and take my woman hood away from me, I wanted to commit suicide and I had to find a way to let that hurt go and love myself if nobody ever loved me I knew my kids did and they needed me so I picked up my pen and paper.
I let my work do the talking for me because I can express myself better with my writing then I could with it coming out my house.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
I have grew up around and/or seen certain things in life so I take everyday life situations and create my work.
But every one I speak on even though the situation is real The character is made up to protect their identity and keep my self from being sued.
Who are your favorite authors?
Mya Angelou, Dnesha Diamond, Jacquees (the cartels) James Patterson, R.L Stine, Eric Jerome Dickey and Zane!
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I would rather self publish but then again a publishing company already has the set up and traffic you need to build readers and sales.etc
I like self publishing because you really don’t have to be worried about being ripped off or being told what kind and size book you should write. you are your own boss
What genres do you write?
Fiction, nonfiction, poetry, self help…etc
What formats are your books in?
All information is provided by the author and is presented as it was submitted so you the reader get to hear the author’s own “voice” in their interview.
