What inspires you to write?
What has always inspired me to write was my passion for telling a story and hearing/seeing my readers reactions to the worlds I created.
Tell us about your writing process.
Most of my writing process comes from a dream or daydream and I just sit down and start to write. Throughout the story I will make notes about where I want the story to go but sometimes it doesn’t happen and goes a completely different way. So to answer the question I suppose I am more of a seat of your pants writer.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
I sit back and let the characters tell me where we are going. Sometimes I’ll be writing and be just as shocked as to what happened in the scene as a first time reader would be.
Who are your favorite authors?
Stephen King, Ellen Wittlinger, James Patterson to name a few.
Honestly as long as I can get into a story I don’t care if it’s by an author I have never heard of. Most of the books I’ve been reading lately are by other indie authors.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I self publish. I had a bad experience when i first started off with a publisher so I choose the hard way.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I think a lot of people are turning to audiobooks and ebooks. But I still have a love of feeling the pages turn in my hands. The smell the give off.
What genres do you write?
Crime, fiction, realism, drama
What formats are your books in?
eBook, Print, Audiobook
