Author Bio:
They say, “Write what you know.” Well … I know real estate from being a top producer for over a decade. And I know criminal behavior from many of those clients who bought/sold homes with me are cops, attorneys and judges. And from those two mindsets I’ve written my “sunshine noir” series (where dark things happen in the bright sunlight of a very rich southern California beach town). The first “Death in Paraiso” is now out; the second, “Paraiso Lost” is scheduled for this July.
What inspires you to write?
I can't remember ever not writing; even way back when I was a teenager.
Tell us about your writing process.
I've only outlined a book once. And I didn't write a page in two months. None of my characters spoke to me. Nothing happened. So, I tossed the outline and two days later had completed chapter one. Since then, the idea or situation kinda pops up and I might write it out and see where it takes me. Here's the best way to describe it for me: We're taking a trip, say from L.A. to N.Y. We might go by way of the old Route 66, we might go through San Francisco, along the Canadian border, hard to say. But we'll get there. And it'll be a
trip to remember.
