Author Bio:
The first book I wrote was nonfiction, “A Widow’s Egyptian Adventure. ” I had it published, after that I said to myself: If I can write one book,I can write another. My next book was a paranormal romance for young adults. “Star’s Gift. I wrote book 2 “Star’s Return,” and then book 3 “Star’s Visions.
After that I translated a memoir written by Dr. John R Tapia, my uncle. “The Compromised Land.”
Lastly I wrote another nonfiction, “Friends Until The End.” I haven’t started on my next book yet.
What inspires you to write?
I always liked writing, but never thought I would become a writer. Then one evening when I was going through a bad time,I decided to write about it. I also kept a dream diary.
Tell us about your writing process.
I guess I am a, seat of the pants writer. When I wrote "Star's Gift," I just sat at the computer and started writing. I've always liked the paranormal, especially when it includes magic. I created the characters in my head, gave them names and chose a location where they would live. It took my only five months to write it. Though it took two months to edit it.a bit of time to edit it.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
I don't listen to them, I mostly think what should he, or she say next, or where should they travel to what should they wear and so on.
Who are your favorite authors?
Nora Roberts, Kristen painter and Bethany Claire. Bethany Claire "Love Beyond Time." Its a series, there are twelve books so far.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I decided to use a publishing house for my first book. I didn't know anything about how to publish a book. When I wrote my second book I did a lot of research on several publishing houses and picked the one I thought was best.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
Well, I'm sure a lot of people like to read. Though I don't think the book publishing is collapsing. For myself I love the audio books.
More people love reading their eBooks more than an actual book.
