Author Bio:
Aswathy Vadakel is an Indian-English Writer,Painter and Educator.After a six years of teaching career,Aswathy penned her first book-“Mon Amour”-Collection of Romantic Poems in 2020.
The author was born in Kerala,India and attended high school in Idukki district,India.She earned her degree in Tourism Studies and Several Diplomas and Certificates(Including United Nations Organization’s) in Education too.Currently she lives with her father,mother, brother and their pet dog in Kerala, India.
She was a University Topper in Tourism Studies and she has honored for her volunteering work for UNEP by UN, Government of India and Government of Andra Pradesh.
What inspires you to write?
Love of my life,my imagination and my experiences.
Tell us about your writing process.
When I get a thread,I add my own imagination and experience to it.And I develope the same as a good literary product.First I write it in my notebook,then I enter the same in my laptop.And,I edit the same 3-4 times to finalize.
Who are your favorite authors?
Vaikom Muhammad Basheer and William Shakespeare.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
Even though paper books has the Cultural Value,it's purely out fashioned in this 21st CE digital-global village.I decided to self publish my poems as "E-book".
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
Since our existence, human tell our story as poems,novels,etc and it's not going to stop anytime soon ever.So, future book publishing will be very bright and easy in this digital-global village.Because, literature has huge role in human life.
