Part Two will be discounted from $3.99 to $1.99 during March 2014 from Amazon.
The second in a six-part novel serial, ‘A Life Singular – Part Two’ continues the journey back through the life of Jeff Diamond, millionnaire celebrity and philanthropist, as he writes his autobiography. Part Two documents a childhood of neglect and violence which leaves Jeff with permanent mental scars and a burning ambition to change the world. He meets his soul-mate, a teenaged pop sensation from a privileged background, whose parents have other ideas for their daughter. We look back over the shoulders of Jeff and his two children, as they retrace the couple’s early years.
The serial’s themes are triumph over mental illness, the choices between right and wrong and the relentless passage of time. Lorraine Pestell, herself a longstanding sufferer of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, uses the universal media of love, celebrity, fame and fortune with two goals in mind: first, to inspire fellow sufferers to rise above their symptoms and make a success of their lives; and second, to encourage non-sufferers to support, tolerate, include and even love afflicted people in their quest to live a ‘normal’ life.
‘A Life Singular – Part One’ was released in June 2013, followed by ‘A Life Singular – Part Two’ in December 2013. The author aims to release the remaining four parts at six-monthly intervals.
