Interview with Author – Gordon Byron

Interview with Author – Gordon Byron

Gordon Byron is a world traveler (who has lived in North America, Asia and Europe), teacher, earth science nut and outdoors person with a background in geological sciences, market trading and fiction writing. He became interested in fiction writing and poetry at age nine, science fiction in grade school and horror stories in high school but now focuses primarily on creating characters involved in some form of moral/ existential struggle that forces them to overcome personal weaknesses or past grievances.

He loves reading literary fiction, classics, science fiction and romantic comedies but lately occupies most of his time by researching new topics that might be interesting to himself, current and future readers. He attempts to connect with his readers through dynamic and accessible characters others can sympathize with and grow to love and emulate. His primary motivation for writing is to entertain and amuse.

He wrote The Superspecies series with the intent of presenting the possibility of a group of animals becoming as or more intelligent than human beings through genetic engineering and modification. A radical change that forces humans to reevaluate their status as rulers of the planet, putting them in the position of deciding whether to defend (or share) their place with an emerging species.

She enjoys a career developing television series and movies as well as teaching story workshops at UCLA Extension.

Appropriately, she found out on April Fool’s Day she’d sold her first book, “The Starlight Mint Surprise Murder” to Wild Rose Press.

(and other questions for God)”, she was an award-winning Los Angeles and San Francisco Radio Personality, and was named “LA’s FUNNIEST LADY”. Ably assisted by her alter-ego, Ima Crone, Gypsy Crone Queen of Snarklandia, and her Camp Meme-A-Day Memes (some of which actually TALK), she names, blames and, with any luck shames the knuckleheads, nincompoops and nimrods who populate this glorious (and fragile) planet.

Interview with Author – Remy Apepp

Remy is fond of understatements. Some of Remy’s favorite understatements include the following:

Remy likes writing.

If stories were stars, Remy would want to write an entire night sky full.

Remy writes stories for the same reason explorers adventure into and chart unknown territories—and also for the same reason people treat headaches by drinking water, eating snacks, taking pain meds, going for light walks, and getting rest.

All Remy wants from life is to write stories that touch you in the same place music does; that make you think differently than before; and that linger in your mind as if they’d been written into clay tablets rather than printed on paper or typed on screens.

Also, Remy can write a novel in a month but can’t write an author bio in a year.
