Interviews
Interview with Author – D. V. Stone
Hi, my name is D. V. Stone. I am a multi-genre author. I also host Welcome to the Campfire and A Peek Through the Window, both weekly blogs. Here’s a little more about me.
Born in Brooklyn, D.V. Stone has moved around a bit and even lived for a time on a dairy farm in Minnesota before moving back east. Throughout her wandering, she always considered herself a Jersey Girl. She met and married the love of her life, Pete—a lifelong Jersey Man, and moved this time to Sussex County. They live with Hali, a mixed breed from the local shelter and their cat Baby.
D.V.’s career path varied from working with the disabled to become a volunteer EMT, which in turn led to working in hospital emergency rooms and then in a women’s state prison. After a few years, she took a break from medicine and became the owner of Heavenly Brew, a specialty coffee shop in Sparta NJ, and a small restaurant in Lafayette. Life handed some setbacks, and she ended up back in the medical field, but this time in a veterinary emergency hospital.
During the poor economy, she was laid–off from a long-time position she cared about. Devastated, D.V. wondered what to do with her life. Finding comfort in her love of reading, she realized it was now time to follow her dream of writing. It’s been a long road but worth every minute of it. Now a published author, she also works in a people medical office again.

Interview with Author – Paul W. Papa
I am a full-time writer and ghost writer who has lived in Las Vegas for more than thirty years. I developed a fascination with the area, and all its wonders, while working for nearly fifteen years at several Las Vegas casinos. In my role as a security officer, I was the person who actually shut and locked the doors of the Sands Hotel and Casino for the final time. I eventually became a hotel investigator for a major Strip casino, during which time I developed a love for writing stories about uncommon events. When not at my keyboard, I can usually be found talking to tourists on Fremont Street, investigating some old building, or sitting in a local diner hunting down my next story.

Interview with Author – Bella Jai Collier
Hello!! I’m Bella Jai Collier. I’m from and currently live in Georgia with my husband and our five (yes) five children! I found writing very interesting when I was just ten years old. I remember picking up a notebook and writing a short story. The older I got, the longer my stories were. I published my first novel in 2009 under a somewhat Traditional publisher. In that contract I learned a lot about the publishing business and I am still learning to this day. Now I have four books and a stage play that I hope to bring to the stage soon. My new novel is one that I am super excited about and I cannot wait for the world to read it! Being an author is rewarding to me because whenever I don’t like the world I’m living in I can just create and escape to another!!
